About
Mt. Binga, on the border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, is the second-highest peak. The trail is rugged, with "broken" quartzite ridges that demand good ankle support and stamina. Most hikers take two days, overnighting at the mountain hut or in one of the nearby caves. Expect vertical rock faces and protea-filled valleys. Highlights: Quartzite peaks, border beacons, cave sleeping.
