This trail goes down into the deep Pungwe Gorge. It feels more like jungle than the open moorlands of Mt. Nyangani. The path can be slippery and overgrown in parts, and leads to secluded spots along the Pungwe River. Fly-fishers like it, as do walkers who want a cooler, forested environment. Highlights: Deep gorge, river views, thick vegetation.
