A hard climb in the Bvumba with views over Mutare and into the Honde Valley. The trail is steep and often slippery because of the high rainfall. It passes through dense afro-montane forest before opening onto a rocky ridge. Local trail runners use it to train for high-altitude races. Highlights: Training ground, dense forest, steep ridges.
