WaterWorld is a water park on Dundee Drive in Montrose, Bulawayo. It is built around three pools: a shallow one for small children and two deeper ones, with slides between them. Families call it the answer to the Bulawayo heat. One parent points out that the smaller slides are in a separate area for young children, and that the two big slides work well even though the park is not new. Another visitor who came on a busy Saturday found it packed but big enough for everyone. There are plenty of places to eat and sit where you can watch the children. Swimwear is sold on site, which is handy if you forget.
One visitor notes there were no lifeguards, so small children need an adult watching them all the time. Several people warn that the food and extras add up, and one found it pricey over the festive season.
One family left a handbag in the changing room. They came back the next morning to find it kept safe in the office, with nothing missing.
